Terms of Service

Last updated: October 27, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of snydersenvironmental.com (the “Site”) and the septic, sewer and drain services provided by Snyder’s Environmental Service, Inc. (“Snyder’s,” “SES,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By using the Site or scheduling service with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Use of our website

You may use the Site for lawful purposes, such as learning about our services and contacting us. You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, submitting false or misleading information, or sending spam through our forms.

Website information is general guidance

Articles, guides, our service finder tool and other content on the Site are provided for general informational purposes only. Every septic and sewer system is different, and online information is not a substitute for an on-site evaluation by a qualified technician. Recommendations made after an inspection of your property take priority over general information on the Site.

Service requests, estimates and scheduling

Submitting a request through the Site, by phone or by email does not create a binding agreement until we confirm your appointment. Estimates are based on the information available at the time and may change if conditions on site differ from what was described, such as tank size, access, depth, the condition of components, or additional work needed. We will discuss changes with you before performing additional work whenever practical. Appointment times are estimates and may be affected by weather, emergencies and other conditions outside our control.

Your responsibilities as a customer

To help us complete your service safely and efficiently, you agree to:
  • Provide accurate information about your property, system and the problem you’re experiencing
  • Give our crew safe access to the work area, including tank lids, cleanouts and drain field areas, and secure pets during the visit
  • Tell us about known hazards and the location of buried utilities, irrigation lines, invisible pet fences, sprinkler heads or other private underground features
  • Confirm that you own the property or are authorized by the owner to approve the work
We are not responsible for damage to unmarked or undisclosed private underground items, or for normal disturbance to lawns, landscaping or driveways that is reasonably necessary to access and service your system.

Payment

Payment terms will be provided on your estimate or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due when the work is completed. Past-due balances may be subject to collection costs where permitted by law.

Warranties and disclaimers

We stand behind our workmanship. Any warranty on specific work or parts will be stated on your estimate or invoice. Manufacturers’ warranties on equipment we install are provided by those manufacturers. Septic and sewer systems can be affected by factors outside our control, including age, soil and ground conditions, tree roots, water usage and what goes down the drains. Except as stated in writing, our services and the Site are provided “as is,” without other warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snyder’s will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Third-party links

The Site may link to websites operated by others, such as county health departments, map providers and social media. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Intellectual property

The content on the Site, including text, photos, graphics, logos and the Snyder’s Environmental Service name, belongs to Snyder’s or its licensors and may not be copied or used without our permission, except for personal, non-commercial use such as printing our maintenance guide for your home.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information you provide through the Site or when you request service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Indiana.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect when posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site or our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
